About Booking Minds
Booking Minds is an app for meeting the people worth meeting, built by BookingMinds Inc. This page says who is behind it, how the company earns its money and how to reach us.
What we are building
Booking Minds is a live map of real professionals. You offer what a meeting with someone is worth to you, and they accept or decline. The amount is held when you offer, charged when they accept and released by a QR scan when you meet; the person paid keeps 85%, and there is no payout minimum. With Needs you post what you need and people raise a hand, and small events let a host fill a few seats with guests who propose their own price to join. How we make money
Joining Booking Minds, browsing the map and posting what you need are free, and there are no subscriptions or listing fees. The company keeps 15% of each paid meeting or event place: the amount is held when the offer is sent, charged when it is accepted and released by a QR scan at the meeting, and the person paid keeps 85%, with no payout minimum. Stripe's payout fee is on us.
Who we work with
The three partners you meet most directly in the app:
- Stripe processes payments and payouts. It receives the card you pay with and the bank details it needs to pay you; Booking Minds never sees or stores a card number.
- Didit runs the ID check. It receives your document scan, a short liveness check and your profile photo to compare with the document portrait; we receive the result with your name, date of birth and nationality, and never store images of the document.
- Mapbox draws the map. The app requests map data for the area on your screen from Mapbox.
