Which one fits
- You want to hear what your friends really think: NGL is built for that, because it works through your own followers. In July 2024 the US Federal Trade Commission announced a proposed order barring it from offering the app to anyone under 18, and its App Store listing now says 18+.
- You want to see what people in your area are saying: Yik Yak is the closer fit.
- Your question has probably been asked before: search Quora first. Its archive is far larger than ours.
- You want to ask anything without your name, and you do not want your friends involved: that is what Ask on Booking Minds is for. It is new, so an answer can take a while.
What Booking Minds does differently
Everyone in Ask is a number, and it is a different number on every question, so your questions cannot be tied together by your number. Booking Minds does know the account behind every number, so that the rules hold for everyone. If someone used AI for an answer and ticks the box, the answer says so, and the answers that helped most come first.
